Qui vol viure per sempre?

Això es preguntava la banda de rock Queen amb la cançó "Who Wants to Live Forever" publicada l’any 1986 en el disc "Kind of magic", una cançó que va formar part de la banda sonora de la pel·lícula "Highlander" (Els immortals) sent el tema principal.

La pel·lícula es va estrenar el mateix any (1986) i va tenir força èxit. S’hi narra la història d’uns guerrers immortals que només es moren si se’ls hi talla el cap i només n’ha de quedar un, el protagonista és un antic guerrer escocès, Connor MacLeod. Amb Christopher Lambert i Sean Connery, director: Russell Mulcahy. Després van fer més parts de la pel·lícula però van ser tot un fracàs.

Els que sí que viuran sempre, almenys les seves cançons, són els Queen i el seu cantant Freddie Mercury.

fabchannel (Mazoni i Sanpedro)

Fa dies vaig destacar una pàgina web on es poden veure vídeos de concerts de diferents formacions: www.fabchannel.com, una pàgina que em va agradar tant pel seu contingut com per la seva presentació. Doncs bé, no fa gaire la vaig visitar i vaig tenir una sorpresa. En primer lloc vaig poder observar que els textos de la web eren en castellà, bé, jo diría que un castellà una mica especial, sembla que hi hagi com una barreja de castellà i català o alguna cosa així, no n’estic segur la veritat però es poden llegir frases com "Llista de reproducción", "Conciertes" entre altres. Bé, deixant de banda aquest fet el que també vaig observar és que hi ha vídeos de concerts de grups catalans, i que canten en català, com per exemple Mazoni i Sanpedro. Ho he mirat molt per sobre i no n’estic segur però sembla que no he vist cap vídeo de grups que cantin en castellà ni en cap altre idioma a part de l’anglès, o sigui que podria ser que en aquesta web només hi haguès concerts de grups que canten en anglès o en català, interessant. En tot cas és una agradable sorpresa.
