Fa dies que surten apunts molt llargs, avui toca parlar dels vins del sopar de Sant Joan i punt:
Giró blanc 2009: varietat mallorquina recuperada, Fra Juniper Serra la porta a Califòrnia on junt amb la malvasia esdevingué un dels primers Mission’s Grapes amb la malvasia. A Giró Ribot n’han fet un blanc molt xulo, per celebrar algun aniversari del celler. Nas molt intens amb notes de mel, pinya i almíbar, l’atac en boca et recorda un chardonnay però és molt ampli i persistent evoluciona cap a notes més dolces. Novedós a 8€ la tirada.
Blanc de Roure 2008, de l’Olivera 4.98€, a Arenys un clàssic estiuenc, l’hem begut després del Giró i això l’ha perjudicat, per tant ja en parlarem un altre dia.
Antistana 2005 Magnum: merlot 100%, fem un homenatge al mag del merlot, Bourdoux al Penedés, vellutat, voluptuós amb un final més tànic, si vols saber quin gust tenen els vins francesos quan són bons tasta l’Antistana. 24,95€
