Quan el món s’acabe, una píndola d’optimisme per al dilluns
"Quan el món s’acabe", de Dave Matthews Band, és una d’aquelles cançons que et posa de bon humor per més borrós que tingues el dia. N’adjunte la lletra en anglès. Ahir, quan tornava a València en tren, em vaig dedicar a intentar traduir-la al català, amb cara i ulls; però només vaig saber posar-li un nas, i em va eixir una cançó amb nas de pallasso, de manera que adjunte l’original en anglès que és molt millor -anem a ser realistes, el Dave Matthews i els seus col·legues han venut més discos que jo, per alguna cosa serà-.
Per als qui els faça mandra l’exercici de llegir la cançó, o d’entendre-la, a grans trets diré que en Dave ve a dir que "El dia que el món s’acabe agafa les teues coses, que te’n véns amb mi, anirem a veure com desapareixen els estels, farem l’amor dolçament, i quan el món s’haja acabat, nosaltres tot just haurem començat". Si això no és optimisme…
Per cert, aprofite per a felicitar a la Marina Yang, optimista per definició, que el divendres va ser el seu aniversari (almenys a occident, no sé com funciona això dels aniversaris a la Xina, Marina), i vaig pensar en ella tot el dia, però no em vaig poder connectar.
