UNA SOPA DE MELÓ PER A L´ESTIU

Qui diu que menjar a casa o rebre els amics és complicat?. Aquesta recpeta no necessita temps, és barata, refrescant i deliciosa.

SOPA DE MELÓ

La sopa de meló ens pot semblar molt moderna, però existeix ja en receptaris catalans del barroc. L´únic que fem és servir-la freda, com un agradable entrant d’ estiu.

Ingredients

1 meló gros

1 l d’ aigua

1 pols de sal

1 got de nata líquida

1 l d’ aigua

Elaboració

Obriu el meló i traieu-ne les granes. Passeu el meló per la batedora i afegiu-hi l´aiuga i el pols de sal; un cop ja batut, afegiu-hi la nata líquida i remeneu-ho. Refrigeureu-ho i serviu-ho ben fred.

Notes

Si voleu una sopa més lleugera, prescindiu de la nata.

Variants:

-afegir-hi unes fulles de menta per decorar

-afegir-hi mitja copa de vi de porto, banyuls,, i fins i tot cava, etc.

-decorar amb boletes de meló  i flocs de pernil, millor si és ibèric

Una forma bonica de servir-la és posant la sopa dins el meló buit, tallat per la meitat.

Seguint el mateix procediment podeu fer una sopa de síndria; en aquest cas s’ hi pot afegir tomàquet cru, sal , una mica de pebre i es pot decorar amb fulles d’ alfàbrega. Es pto substituir la sal per gingebre, nou moscada, etc.

Aquestes sopes es poden decorar també amb marisc bullit: gambes, llagostins, etc.

Admeten altres ingredients , especialment la de meló. Jo hi poso cogombre (la meitat per doble quantitat de meló; sobretot si el meló no ha eixit prou bo) i un iogurt descremat en comptes de la nata. És deliciós!. Igualment, tant l´una com l´altra, es poden decorar amb avellanes o pistatxos trossejats.
