Per altra banda, ahir al vespre vàrem debatre una nova resolució relativa al desè aniversari de la signatura del Tractat d'Ottawa sobre Mines Antipersona; avui debatem els informes anuals de la Comissió i el Consell relatius als drets humans, i seguidament els resultats de la Cimera de Lisboa UE-Àfrica; demà (segueix...)
dimecres proclamaren solemnement la Carta de Drets Fonamentals, i a continuació avaluarem la cimera UE-Xina (en particular el diàleg sobre Drets Humans), i seguidament tindrem un debat sobre l'increment de l'extremisme a Europa; finalment, dijous, en l'habitual sessió destinada a les Urgències sobre Drets Humans, abordarem la situació a l'Est del Txad, els drets de les Dones a Aràbia Saudita i la reclamació de justícia per a les dones anomenades 'dones de consol' (comfort women) de l'Exèrcit Imperial japonès durant la Segona Guerra Mundial.
