L’elecció del director teatral Ferran Madico com a nou responsable del Centre d’Arts Escèniques de Reus (CAER) dóna via lliure perquè de manera “imminent”, segons fonts de la Generalitat, es designi el nou director del festival de circ Trapezi, vacant des de la marxa de Jordi Aspa i Bet Miralta el passat mes de maig. Tot i que el Consorci del Teatre Fortuny de Reus va convocar un concurs el mes d’agost no està clar, però, que el futur director hagi de ser un dels quatre candidats que s’hi van presentar: Clara Matas, Johnny Torres, José Antonio Hernández Joselito i Jordi Gaspar. En una nota de premsa el departament de Cultura assenyala que el nou contracte-programa aprovat aquesta setmana “faculta” a Ferran Madico per a proposar el nou director de Trapezi, sense esmentar en cap cas el concurs que el consorci del Teatre Fortuny va convocar i està pendent de resolució. El retard en la resolució del concurs juntament amb els contactes de l’Ajuntament de Reus amb Louisa Raluy per començar a preparar la 16ª edició del festival està provocant un enorme enuig de l’Associació de Professionals del Circ de Catalunya (APCC).
