El Govern de Convergència i Unió, amb el suport del PP, ha tret les tisores a la nostra ciutat promovent una retallada sanitària sense precedents.
El tancament del CAP de Santfeliu, el tancament parcial del Cap de la Rambla Marina, del Gornal, de la florida i el tancament de 15 unitats, 268 llits, 3 plantes a més de quiròfans i serveis a L'Hospitalet són la materialització de les polítiques del canvi de CiU a la nostra ciutat.
Aquestes retallades afecten de ple als ciutadans de L'Hospitalet que veuran empitjorar la seva qualitat de vida i patiran a la seva pròpia pell la pèrdua de la qualitat de la sanitat si tenen la mala sort de posar-se malalts o patir una malaltia.
Tot i que CiU, ha executat un procés que vol afavorir la privatització de part de la sanitat pública, el nostre govern local ha afavorit aquesta situació.
Sense anar més lluny el govern socialista, va avalar que les Àrees Bàsiques de Salut de Collblanc i la Torrassa passessin a ser gestionades per un consorci privat.
Des del Consell Rector del CSI que gestiona l'Hospitalet Dos de Maig de Barcelona, l' Hospitalet de i l'Hospital Moisés Broggi l'anterior alcalde i l'Alcaldessa han anat avalant polítiques de privatització.
Ara l'Alcaldessa de L'Hospitalet ha estat cessada d'aquest organisme per criticar el desmantellament de la sanitat pública. Una mica tard alcaldessa, ja fa temps que aquest procés estava en marxa amb el seu vist-i-plau.
