Prêt a Pour Tea: Grab your closest girlfriends and enjoy a day full of champagne, high tea, and a fashion show all while supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, B.C. and Yukon region. The event is Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Seasons in the Park Restaurant in Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Park, with CTV's Tamara Taggart as MC. There will be prizes for the best hat at the Mad Hatter-themed tea party. Plus a new crop of styles from locally owned boutiques and designers -- including Blush Occasions, Lela Designs, Obakki beautiful evening wedding dressand Wear Else -- will be on display during the tea-room-style fashion show. Also new this year is the launch of Segura Viuda's Brut Rose bubbly. Returning for another year is a silent auction, plus the Urban Tea Merchant will be supplying the finest tea service, and Season's chef James "Buddy" Wolfe will specially prepare a selection of nibbles, scones and deserts. There will be Roa's Boas for those donating to CBCF, door prizes drawn throughout the afternoon, and guests will get a gift bag. Tickets are $125.
