Fa temps que manifesto la meva clara oposició a considerar la tortura gratuïta i el maltracte animal com un element d'interès cultural o com una festivitat. És per això que m'he sumat amb convicció a la campanya Prou! que de fa anys reclama prohibir les curses de braus en totes les seves modalitats.Ahir vaig fer un pas més, en la mateixa direcció, sumant-me a la iniciativa que demana que es prohibeixi l'exhibició de curses de braus per televisió en horari infantil. Ho vaig fer dirigint una pregunta a la Comissió Europea, que adjunto:

La Directiva 89/552/CE se aprobó en el Parlamento Europeo con el objetivo de que cada estado miembro adoptara unas normas mínimas relativas al ejercicio de actividades radiotelevisadas a través de canales públicos y privados. Esta directiva, conocida popularmente como “Televisión sin Fronteras” (TSF) fue ampliada en 2007 para adaptar parte de su contenido y modernizar la normativa a las evoluciones tecnológicas y cambios en el mundo de los audiovisuales.
En su artículo 22, la Directiva 89/552/CE establece:
Los Estados miembros adoptarán las medidas oportunas para garantizar que sus emisiones de televisión no incluyan programas que puedan perjudicar seriamente el desarrollo físico, mental o moral de los menores y, en particular, programas que incluyan escenas de pornografía o violencia gratuita. Esta disposición se extenderá asimismo a los programas que puedan perjudicar el desarrolo físico, mental o moral de los menores, slavo que se garantice, por la elección de la hora de emisión o mediante toda clase de medidas técnicas, que dichos menores en el campo de difusión no ven ni escuchan normalmente dichas emisiones.
Los Estados miembros velarán asimismo para que las emisiones no contengan ninguna incitación al odio por motivos de raza, sexo, religión o nacionalidad.
Sin necesidad de entrar en la consideración ética y moral sobre la pervivencia de la tauromaquia en ciertos estados miembro, es evidente que los festejos taurinos se tratan de una actividad pública con violencia real y explícita hacia un animal.
Habiendo tenido conocimiento de que en España, durante el horario establecido como de “protección infantil” tienen lugar emisiones de imágenes de festejos taurinos en canales de televisión de ámbito nacional y autonómico; fuera de los programas calificados como informativos; dirijo a la Comisión las siguientes preguntas:
¿Considera la Comisión la aplicación correcta de la Directiva 89/552/CE por parte de España?
¿Tiene conocimiento la Comisión de que en la actualidad existen hasta siete programas nacionales y autonómicos que emiten contenidos taurinos en España, en horario protegido, que pueden ser contemplados por menores?
¿Considera la Comisión adecuada la programación de espectáculos con violencia explícita hacia los animales en horario de protección para los menores?

Aquest cap de setmana a Tortosa, hem passat per tot, dissabte Jornada a favor de les seleccions (d'esport) catalans, i diumenge Jornades de Cultura Ebrenca - sobre 4 eixos, un sent els bous!! Sembla que hi ha unes ganes de vendre bous=cultura aqui a les Terres de l'Ebre increibles - és cert que a molta gent li agrada pero no s'havia parlat tan, i tan be, en molt de temps.
És estranyíssim el criteri de les institucions públiques com T.V.E.-1 vers aquest tema. S'emet "l'espectacle" en horari infantil però, a les passades eleccions van censurar —així ho califico— un anunci electoral del partit polític P.A.C.M.A. Van obligar a que s'emetés al capvespre perquè contenia imatges cruels i violentes. Quines eren? Moltes eren les mateixes que s'emeten durant l'horari infantil quan fan la salvatge tauromàquia. Que, per cert, està subvencionada amb centenars de milions d'euros dels ciutadans.
Un mira a la nostra societat occidental, la nostra civilització, terminat l'Imperi Romà clàssic i veu amb curiositat i certa preocupació que en general a la gent li escandalitza tot allò que tingui res a veure amb el sexe i la sexualitat però en canvi toleren molt bé l'emissió constant de continguts violents. I no parlo de que s'hagin de censurar pas aquests ni en llibres, ni en films, ni en videojocs, ni en els noticiaris... Em refereixo a que crec que tampoc no s'haurien de vedar els altres doncs són obviàment ben naturals i res nocius.

Et vaig votar a les eleccions europees i et tornaré a votar. Malgrat aixo, hi ha algunes coses d'ICV que no m'agraden, com és el d'un cert seguidisme envers un partit socioliberal com el PSC, tal i com es veu a l'Ajuntament de Barcelona o al tripartit. Quan es governa en equip, efectivament, totes les grans decissions haurien d'estar consensuades entre tots els partits i no s'hi val l'excusa de dir que aquell departament ha fet allo perque hi mana el PSC o un altre. No. Hi ha moltes coses de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona o el tripartit que no m'agraden i que no s'haurien d'haver fet mai, i crec que a les properes eleccions hi haurà un fort vot de càstig als partits a causa de la desafecció cap a la politica. Per exemple, considero que el principal problema ecologic que tenim a Catalunya i a l'Estat espanyol, com han dit gent com Greenpeace, és l'especulació urbanistica, que fa malbé nombrosos paisatges i és un veritable càncer pel pais. Considero del tot inadmissible i molt decebedor que el govern de la Generalitat hagi donat llum verda a una aberració urbanistica com el complexe de la Vall Fosca al Pirineu, exemple de l'urbanisme insostenible i que no te cap justificació. Des d'un punt de vista verd hi ha certes linies vermelles que no es poden traspassar sota cap justificació sense crear desafecció envers la politica i aquest és per mi l'exemple més flagrant. Espero que no es repeteixin errors com aquests i que es vagi algun dia cap a una politica de creixement zero o moratoria urbanistica definitiva als llocs més sensibles paisatgisticament de la que ICV hauria de fer bandera. No et creguis; de vegades tinc els meus dubtes. Però aleshores penso en el que seria això sense una força política d'esquerres dins el govern. Segurament algunes mesures com la pujada d'impostos als cotxes que emeten més de 200 gr de Co2 a l'atmosfera, o del compromís de que també paguin les rendes IRPF més altes el preu de la crisi, no existirien si iniciativa estigués fora del govern. M'hagués agradat també que es pugessin els impostos a les rendes del capital....però no és possible. Si tinguessim 68 escons segurament podriem retreure alguna cosa, però hi ha els escons que hi ha.
