En el bloc del GOB de Menorca, es reprodueix una cinta de super 8 de com era Cala Galdana el mes Juliol de l' any 1968. Dura poc més d´un minut, però serveix per veure la cala verge d' edificacions , sense els actuals hotels ni els nombrosos apartaments que li han canviat radicalment la seva fisonomia. L' especulació urbanística i el poc respecte als paratges naturals ha estat la tònica dels darrers quaranta anys. Tot va començar durant el franquisme però la democràcia constitucional tampoc ha pogut o no ha volgut aturar-ho.
