L’objectiu del concurs d’arquitectura és el disseny d’una vivenda multi-generacional de 2-3 plantes destinat a un matrimoni (en els seus 50’s), els bessons de sis anys (xiquet i xiqueta), i dos apartaments d’invitats per a familiars. A més “connectat” espais independents destinats a empleats.
El disseny que se’ns demana ha de ser Mediterrani, Contemporani, Carib o una fusió dels tres, sent conscients d’una regió subtropical amb estius tropicals (calent i humit de juny a octubre, amb el sol abrasador i les pluges torrencials, i suau des de novembre fins maig, amb ocasionals nits fresques). L’arquitectura “directriu” per al disseny de la llar ha d’estimular i delectar amb les seues idees úniques, detalls exòtic i l’èmfasi clàssic, al mateix temps que harmonitzar els espais interiors i exteriors
PARCE·LA DEL LLOC:
Argument projectual: inserció suau en l’entorn.
Les pautes d’inserció: topogràfiques, morfològiques, climàtiques, paisatgístiques i vegetals faciliten la inserció dels elements arquitectònics.
Organització de la parcel·la: es generen recorreguts i la inclusió de 3 tipus de vegetació per zones. Tropical autòctona – californiana – mediterrània.
ORGANITZACIÓ DE LA PEÇA ARQUITECTÒNICA PRINCIPAL:
Els corredors són eixos com a element estructurant de les tres parts del projecte:
1. Familiar.
2. Invitats. Separats però units si es vol.
3. Empleats i garatge separats.
Entrada representativa en l’accés i vista des de la carretera. Hall com a sala d’exposicions. Unir elegància i confortabilitat.
Façana posterior bolcada sobre la platja que reben les brises oceàniques.
Família i invitats. Separats per una terrassa. Les estances de treball domèstic són les que fan de ròtula entre ambdós parts i funcionen autonòmament.
Família i invitats discriminen recorreguts, inclús, amb l’ús de l’ascensor encara sent compartit.
Tots els dormitoris donen a vistes del mar.
Els eixos de comunicació travessen els diversos volums tangencialment.
La composició senzilla i elegant de les façanes intenta emular l’orde dels palaus imperials així com el jardí adjunt a la zona d’estar i zona de jocs arreplegant-se en si mateix.
La construcció es basa en un sistema totalment prefabricat. Pilars, bigues i forjats de formigó. Només els pilars de la gran coberta se sustenten en el pòrtic amb fins tubs d’acer que cobreixen l’alçària de dos plantes.
Tota habitació frueix de ventilació encreuada. L’espai de fals sostre es destina a facilitar el pas d’instal·lacions.
Prevenció als huracans: totes les finestres porten la protecció externa de monobloks amb plegat motoritzat de les mateixes. Entre finestrals i proteccions s’inserixen mosquiteres.

ORGANIZATION OF THE MAIN PIECE:
The corridors are axes which structure the house.
3 areas:
1. Familiar area.
2. Guests area separated but linked to the main area through designed access.
3. Employers area and garage both separated.
The representative access. Hall design is to an exhibitions room for matching elegance.
Back front overturned on the beach.
family-guest areas separated by a terrace. Domestic work rooms which articulate both areas but let them their autonomous function.
Family members and guests can use different ways of access or sharing them. It shared elevator.
Storage linked to the kitchen and to the utility room with direct sun dried though an opening including a palm.
All the bedrooms have sights to the sea. There is a 3rd bedroom to the inside area for disabled persons with adapted bath.

the doors are sliding panels with guides on the walls cutting the sights between the private and the public area.
Simple and elegant composition of the fronts tries to emulate the order of imperial palaces and the attached zengarden next to the living-room and the games zone.
Construction based on a totally precast concrete system.
Supports, walls, beam are concrete forged: only the great cover sustained by thin steel columns that the height of the two floors.

Hall stairs and gangplanks: profile of stainless steel, steps of glass. The gangplanks between the corridor of the family area and the external terrace are of glass on an steel structure. Protection from the children. Every room has crossed ventilation. Emptiness between ceiling -floors to get the installations.
Hurricane: windows to have monoblocks external protection and folded motorized structures. mosquito-nets between large window and hurricane protection.
