I am Li -or Linus-, an outsider and a loser, a wayfarer lost into the blizzard, but still up and walking, seeking the right path to the right place. My past is my compass; my dead ones, my guides; my waste love, my highest hope.
No lights ahead other than those that just faded out.

Descending to some concrete earthly facts, I am Catalan, living in Catalunya (in the portion colonized and ruled by Spain). I studied sciences: Geology and, later, Physics; but I’ve almost always made my living in the trade of fine arts and antiques, stamps, old books… I’m myself a stamp and book collector since I was a child.
About this blog of mine, I started it in March 2013 but I gave up posting some months later. In 2016 I created another blog in WP as a sort of continuation of my late sister’s -and, to a great extent, as homage to her and her particular interests (which in part are also mine): poetry, literary translations, philology and linguistics, and also some of the relatively recent visual arts: comics, photography, cinema.
Like her, I have been publishing mainly in English, but including posts in Catalan and translations of English, German and Romani poetry into Catalan from time to time; and these are the posts that justify my coming back to VilaWeb, where they might get a less scanty audience than they do now among a fully English-speaking community.
Furthermore, some of my posts in English on Catalan matters (mainly art and culture) could find a place here as well. I will consider it.
